Bye Bye V Festival Mud…hello M.A.C

August 26, 2010

Last weekend we were given the very lovely opportunity of spending the weekend in the Virgin Media VIP Louder Lounge. For those that haven’t been to the Louder Lounge before think clean, quirky and oh so stylish. From Saturday lunch onwards the guests started to mingle and it quickly became clear that their first pit stop of the day was going to be the M.A.C make-over tent. Standing in line (a very long line), the excited chatter over what look to go for and how big their lashes would be filled the Chelmsford air.

Exclusively for the weekend the M.A.C Pro team created a variety of fun and fresh festival looks that embodied the spirit and style of this years trends. From the intricate foliage inspired design to the flashes of bright colour, each look was as impressive as the next.

In total, 500 guests kept the artists on their toes over the weekend and even the celebs got in on the action to. One of our favourite looks was boutique loving gal, Pixie Lott with her glowing, glittery, dark-eyed creation.

To achieve her look M.A.C Pro Trainer, Dean Rudd (make-up hero), used a combination of the Oil Control lotion as a skin prep, the M.A.C Pro Longwear Concealer as a base and the legendary Mineralise Skinfinish Powder in Medium Deep to give her a lovely warm complexion. On Pixie’s eyes, Dean applied Blackground Paintpot all over her eyelids then added Gorgeous Gold Eyeshadow on her inner eye corners. Smolder Pencil was then used to line inside and out of the top and bottom lash line and then Black Chromaline added the drama and intensity to the outer corners of her eyes. To finish off the rock-chic look Dean applied #2 lashes and a coating of Opulash Mascara in Black….AMAZING!

Check out who else we spotted sporting the M.A.C creations later on today…

Ps: Here’s a Boutique secret….Dean Rudd M.A.C Pro Trainer is now our hero!!
